About

...Me
My name is Madeline Asala. A South Londoner born and bred, but from a very large Ghanaian family!
I am in a beautiful relationship with a beautiful man, who is also my bestie. You might catch snippets of him on SoulJourner's Story, but what I am really trying to do is to rope him into contributing to this blog. Ssssh!!!
I  don't consider myself religious, but I am a Jesus lover, and try to live a life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is best modeled through my role as a youth leader at Living Springs International Church*. I also take my daily devotionals, bible reading and prayer time seriously.
I work in a very well known company in London as a Sales Support Executive and love what I do. It has taken me a long time to find a job that I at least like, and that is what a lot of this blog will be based on!
I am a food fanatic, so in my spare time I love to cook and eat out. I also watch a lot of reality TV (ratchet, I know, but oh well!), read books and blogs, and watch a lot of YouTube.
Did I mention I also love fashion and makeup? I am no pro though. I'm still learning!

...SoulJourner's Story
Our tagline is "Faith and Motivation for Young Professionals", and that is exactly what we are!
This is the one stop shop for anyone who considers themselves young, and is seeking a fulfilling career or business, and a faith filled, and full life. Expect to find inspirational pieces, career advice, relationship advice, lifestyle features and bible studies right here on this blog!
SoulJourner's Story was born out of a vision I had to help people live practically and positively. Not too long ago I was in a job I disliked, and I knew my colleagues disliked the job too. I often found myself asking them "if you could switch jobs, what career path would you take?". And it was amazing that many wanted to be teachers, nurses, singers, business owners...but lacked motivation, and confidence. I had a lot of helpful tips and words of encouragement to offer, and so felt the need to share this gift with the world.
